What you will need:

1. U.S. Passport – You must provide your signed passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have a blank page available.
2. Libya Visa Application Form – Please provide a completed visa application form; click Libya Visa App for a .pdf of the application. Because the application changes on occasion, we’ve also provided a link to the Libya Embassy website so you may get the most recent version directly from the Embassy website. The application form must be filled out completely and have answers for all fields. It must display your full name as appears in your passport, and it must be signed.
3. Washington Express Visas Visa Request Form – filled out completely.
4. Photograph – Please provide one color, passport size photo. The photograph must be printed on photo paper, it must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and it must have been taken in the last 6 months.
5. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary showing your name as well as travel information.

A business letter of introduction from your company (on company letterhead) addressed to the Embassy of Libya stating the purpose of travel, the name and contact of the company in Libya you’re visiting, and a financial guarantee for all of your expenses. 6.  The company sponsoring you in Libya should put in a request for a visa approval through the Department of Passports and Citizenship and Foreigners. Your approval should include the required period of your stay, passport number, and the name of the sponsoring company. Approval must be obtained prior to shipping the visa requirements to us.

No vaccinations are required to enter Libya from any country.

Warning:
– All nationals intending to stay in Libya longer than 14 days will have to undergo an AIDS test, which must be carried out at the Directorate of Immigrant Health and Chest Related Diseases.
– not required for nationals of Libya and holders of diplomatic and service passports.

– Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of arrival.
