Effective June 30th, 2022, all travelers planning to visit Togo will need to apply for an electronic visa authorization (e-Visa).

What you will need: 

1. U.S. Passport – You must provide your signed passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have two adjacent blank pages available.
2. Togo Visa Application Forms – Please provide two (2) completed visa application forms;  click VISA-APPLICATION_TOGO for a .pdf of the application. Because the application changes on occasion, we’ve also provided a link to the Togo Embassy website so you may get the most recent version directly from the Embassy website. The application form must be filled out completely and have answers for all fields. It must display your full name as appears in your passport, and it must be signed.
3. Washington Express Visas Visa Request Form – filled out completely.
4. Photograph Please provide two color, passport size photos. The photograph must be printed on photo paper, it must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and it must have been taken in the last 6 months.
5. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary showing your name as well as travel information.
6. Copy of driver’s license, state issued ID, or major utility bill (Water, Gas, Electric, Sewage), showing the applicant’s name and current address.
7. International Certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever

Business letter of introduction from your company (on company letterhead) addressed to the Embassy of Togo stating the purpose of travel, the name and contact of the company in Togo you’re visiting, and a financial guarantee for all of your expenses. Click here to see a sample business letter. The letter and your visa application must specify single, double, or multiple entry.
6. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary showing your name as well as travel information.
7. International Certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever

Togo Consular Fees:

• Three (3) Month Entry Visa- $140.00

** The duration of a visa is 90 days. If the traveler wishes to extend, his or her stay beyond 90 days, the traveler must contact the Ministry of Interior in Togo before the visa expires. For each visa application for a child under the age of 18, the Parental Permission (Autorisation Parentale) form must be completed by both parents. No application for a child will be completed without this form.
